I was very honoured to be included in a bespoke sound installation at the Ashmolean Museum in Oxford – the oldest public museum in the UK.
Cities and Memories took over the Chinese paintings gallery (Gallery 11) with an interactive, participatory installation in which visitors experienced the real and imagined sounds of Oxfordshire, and they also created their own experience by moving around within the space, and within the sounds.
For those of us who weren’t in Oxford, we can’t experience the physical installation, but here are the sounds, presented on an interactive map of Oxford – enjoy: http://citiesandmemory.com/2017/03/oxford-sounds-installation-ashmolean/
