SOUND STORIES

I’ve been producing and recording electronic music for over twenty years and one thing is for certain – I have an awful lot of unfinished projects and music sitting on hard drives.
Sometimes this is due to the computer playing up (I’ve had two major crashes wiping everything) causing me to abandon things. Technology has evolved and software has changed so many times that tracks no longer load in the set up I have now.
Sometimes the mood changes or things don’t quite fall into place or I run out of time, and even after all these years, my faith in myself falters and I put tracks to one side.

In 2022, when I was thinking of giving up in the face of a very difficult year, I came across the Music Weeklies community. So, the challenge of #FinishThisTune was a good excuse to dust off something that I had plans to release but never did. This community saved me, in that, their genuine openness and welcoming environment, enabled me to create eclectic pieces with some enjoyment again. I have built up quite a collection of tracks and rather than have them sit on my hard drive, I decided to put a small collection together that I think suit the time of year and demonstrate the eclectic sound and storytelling of Museleon.

Many of my tracks have stories behind them, which accompany the music on the track info and my site.. Nearly everything I have released has been based on memories, things I see and hear or have a tale behind them, reimagining my world in Sound Stories.
