I was reminded today that this release, Insects is nearly 10 years old.
How time flies, no pun intended.
It’s been a bit quiet on the home front here due to life crashing in but I am slowly creating things again.
One thing I am working on is Insects II , concentrating on some more exotic insects. This is taking shape nicely and I have begun to think about artwork too.
Also in the pipeline, is the follow on of Eidolon. Called Hinderlands, it’s an exploration of the effects of dementia on those caring for a loved one with it, with a comparison to the wild hinterlands of moorlands and isolation. Suffice to say , this one is turning out to be a dark noise ambient piece.
As for art, I have been creating some large pen and ink drawings around the idea of symbiosis and the interconnection of plants and humans, concentrating on cellular structures. Of course, audio art is also included and this large collection I hope to exhibit later this year in some format.
I am still intending to create something for the next Cities and Memory call out based on sleep and also something for World Listening Day, as usual.
Possibly, other things might see the light of day this year that have been sitting on my hard drive, after all Insects II demos have been there since 2014.
Eventually, things see the light of day, or should I say, be heard finally?
